Test Structure

Exam Format

Analytical Writing Assessment

  • 1 Essay: "Analysis of an Argument" – 30 minutes
  • Score: 0 to 6 (in half-point increments)
  • Scored by both AI and a human rater
  • Tests: critical thinking, coherent argumentation, written communication

Integrated Reasoning

  • 12 Questions – 30 minutes
  • Multi-Source Reasoning: analyze data from multiple sources
  • Table Analysis: sort and analyze tabular data
  • Graphics Interpretation: interpret charts/graphs
  • Two-Part Analysis: solve complex two-variable problems
  • Score: 1 to 8

Quantitative Reasoning

  • 21 Questions – 45 minutes (adaptive)
  • Problem Solving: classic math questions
  • Data Sufficiency: determine if given data is sufficient to solve a problem
  • Topics: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Word Problems
  • Score: 6 to 51

Verbal Reasoning

  • 23 Questions – 45 minutes (adaptive)
  • Reading Comprehension: analyze long passages
  • Critical Reasoning: evaluate arguments, find assumptions, draw conclusions
  • Sentence Correction: identify grammatically correct sentences
  • Score: 6 to 51
